Students at FIA across all grade levels display strong personal and social growth. The school is dedicated to promoting positive behavior in alignment with the Code of Conduct approved by MOE and ADEK, creating a respectful and supportive learning environment.
This commitment has resulted in strong relationships between students and teachers, built on mutual respect and collaboration. Students actively engage in the school community by initiating and leading activities that show appreciation for their teachers and peers.
Attendance and punctuality are carefully monitored through various strategies, including daily tracking, consistent communication with parents of students who are frequently absent or late, and clear communication of attendance policies. In addition, social workers deliver awareness sessions highlighting the importance of regular attendance, while students are encouraged through monthly awards recognizing excellent attendance.
FIA students demonstrate a strong understanding of Islamic beliefs and a deep appreciation for their values. They recognize the importance of these principles in their daily lives and consistently apply them in their interactions with peers and within the school community. This is reflected in their behavior, with minimal instances of bullying or misconduct. Students also express Islamic values such as gratitude, respect, kindness, and compassion through gestures like writing notes of appreciation to their teachers.
In addition, students show a clear awareness of the importance and relevance of Emirati heritage and culture, taking pride in their identity. National occasions such as Flag Day and National Day see high levels of student participation, as they actively demonstrate their loyalty and appreciation for the leadership of the UAE.
The National Identity program is one of the key initiatives at FIA, designed to engage students across all grade levels, both Emirati and non-Emirati. The program highlights various aspects of Emirati values, such as “Respect.” In addition to the school’s overall efforts to instill a sense of respect among students, the following specific initiatives are implemented:
National celebrations, including National Day, Flag Day, and Martyr’s Day.
The National Identity Ambassadors initiative.
Projects focused on sustainability and environmental preservation.
FIA students demonstrate responsibility and actively engage in both school and community activities. They place high value on humanitarian services and volunteering, showing strong potential to contribute to community service initiatives. Programs such as the Red Crescent, volunteering opportunities, and Scouts attract significant student participation, including active involvement in the Red Crescent’s AOUN Prize.
The school fosters a sense of unity and belonging through its curriculum and practices, while collaborations with external organizations allow students to connect with the wider community. Continuous development of programs and activities further strengthens teamwork, a sense of belonging, and collective achievement.
FIA students exhibit strong work ethics, creativity, and practical innovation. Nearly all students enthusiastically participate in events such as Career Week and Innovation Week, developing their own projects under teacher supervision with great energy and passion.
The work placement program, organized in partnership with external organizations, is a graduation requirement for Grade 12 students. It provides students with real-world work experience, requiring each student to complete 25–40 hours in a workplace aligned with their intended undergraduate specialization.
