Mr. Sghayyer Al Dhahery

Dr.Tawfik Al Shallal

The Medical Director of the Al Ain Sports Club Center holds a Bachelor’s degree in General Medicine and Surgery (MBCHB) from Baghdad and a Diploma in Sports Medicine from England. With 27 years of experience in the field of sports medicine and orthopedic surgery.

Ms. Suha Zareeni

She is Arabic Language teacher and Head of the Arabic Department. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language Literature and has over 20 years of teaching experience.

Dr. Mohammad Khasawneh

Dr. Mohammad Khasawneh got his PhD in Chemistry from Oregon State University (United States) in 2004. He worked as an assistant professor at the University of Minnesota at Morris and then joined UAEU in 2005. He is teaching several courses in Chemistry and Science at UAEU both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He has been involved in the development and improvement of the curricula at UAEU since he joined. Dr. Khasawneh has given several seminars and talks to the ADEK and MOE teachers during the professional development weeks held by these bodies. These seminars are mostly designed so that they promote the up-to-date practices and theories followed in modern teaching and learning processes. He participated in the yearly chemistry/science programs arranged by the College of science at UAEU in order to give school students a good understanding of the role of science in today’s life.

Dr. Mohammad Fteiha

Director of the Al Ain Campus, Director of the Smart Learning Center, and Associate Professor of Special Education. Dr. Fteiha specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorders, Assistive Technology, and Inclusive and Special education. Dr. Fteiha holds the Senior Fellow (SFHEA) status. With extensive academic achievements, including an MA in Speech and Language Pathology and Communication Disorders, a Ph.D. (Honors) in Special Education, and a Harvard Bok Higher Education Teaching Certificate, Dr. Fteiha is well-versed in SMART learning and Distance learning approaches. He’s received accolades including Teaching Awards from ADU, the Khalifa Award for Education, and the Harvard Medical School Dubai Center TAMAYOZ Award.

Dr. Saad Harous

Obtained his Ph.D. in computer science from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, USA in 1991. He has more than 30 years of experience in teaching and research in three different countries, the USA, Oman, and UAE. He is currently a professor at the College of computing and Informatics. In the University of Sharjah, UAE. His teaching interests include programming, data structures, design, and analysis of algorithms. Operating systems and networks. His research interests include parallel and distributed computing, and P2P delivery architectures. Wireless networks and the use of computers in education and processing Arabic language. He has published more than 200 journal and conference papers. He is an IEEE senior member.

DR.Shatha Al ghazali

She has been working in the field of education in the UAE since 2006. She worked in K-12 American schools in UAE as a teacher, department head, education technology specialist, lead of school development committee, and a school principal. She has been heavily involved in consultancy towards transformational change through the effective use of technology in learning environments across various contexts. Her interest lies in using technology integration as means for sustainable development and positive impact on teaching and learning as well as school systems. On the other hand, Shatha has a great interest in school data analysis and how data can be used to improve planning, teaching, and learning. Shatha holds a masters degree in Science in Computer Information System and a bachelor degree in the same field. She received her NPQH (National Program for Quality Headship) from UCL (University College London) Institute of Education and a Professional Diploma in Teaching from Abu Dhabi University. Currently, Mrs. Ghazali is completing her Ph.D. in the field of Computer Science at the United Arab Emirates University in UAE.
